Jace Social Terms of Service
Last updated: Oct 21 2026 Welcome to Jace Social ("Jace Social", "we", "us"), a place for friends, chats and servers with Minecraft built in. Jace Social is part of Jace, a hobby project run by one person (Jace, @okjace). By signing in or using Jace Social - on the web, in the desktop app, on your phone, in Jace Launcher or in Minecraft - you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Jace Social. When you sign in with Jace, the Jace Terms of Service and Jace Privacy Policy also apply to your Jace account.1. What Jace Social is (and isn't)
• Jace Social is a fun, personal project, not a registered business, and it was built with the help of an AI coding assistant.
• It's provided "as is" and "as available." It may go offline, change, lose data, or shut down at any time, with or without notice. Keep your own copies of anything you care about.
• Jace Social isn't made by, or connected with, Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang.
2. Your account
• Sign in with your Jace account or your Minecraft account. You're responsible for your account and anything done with it.
• There's no minimum age. If you're young, check with a parent or guardian first.
• Don't use extra accounts to get around a ban.
3. Your content
• You own what you post. By posting messages, files, pictures, servers and profile information, you let us store, show and deliver them as needed to run Jace Social. That ends when you delete them, except for copies other people already received.
• Only post things you have the right to post.
• Your messages are visible to the people in the chat, and to the person running Jace Social, who has access to its database. Don't share anything you wouldn't be comfortable with that.
4. The rules
Don't use Jace Social to:• harass, threaten, bully or impersonate anyone;
• post illegal content, sexual content involving minors, or other people's private information;
• spam, scam, or send malware or links meant to steal accounts;
• break, overload, or get around the limits of Jace Social, its bots or its API;
• make bots that do any of the above.
Server owners and admins can make extra rules for their servers, and can remove, time out or ban people there.
5. Moderation and bans
We can remove content, and suspend or ban accounts, that break these rules or put others at risk. A ban signs you out everywhere and stops you signing in again. If your account is linked to Jace, the ban can also apply to your Jace account. To ask about a ban, open an issue on GitHub.6. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time by asking the Jace bot. You get a recovery ID that can bring it back for 10 days; after that it's deleted for good and can't be recovered. Ending your request with "([DELETE-NOW])" deletes it for good right away, with no recovery ID. Keep your recovery ID private: anyone who has it can recover your account into theirs.7. The Jace bot
The official Jace bot answers questions with AI, which can be wrong. Don't rely on it for anything important. Press Talk to a person to reach a real person.8. Bots, the API and custom CSS
• If you make a bot or use the API, you're responsible for what it does. Keep its token secret.
• Custom CSS only changes how Jace Social looks for you. Don't paste CSS from people you don't trust.
9. Changes
We may change these Terms. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. Using Jace Social after a change means you accept the new Terms.10. Contact
